Sydney Heel Pain Clinic

Sydney Heel Pain Clinic

I’m currently based in Sydney, working as a creative and technical all-rounder at Sydney Heel Pain Clinic, a specialist podiatry clinic focused on heel pain and sports injuries. My work sits at the intersection of communication, design, and technology — connecting patients, practitioners, and innovative in-house solutions.

My work sits at the intersection of communication, design, and technology — connecting patients, practitioners, and innovative in-house solutions.

At Sydney Heel Pain Clinic, we’ve revolutionized this process by bringing orthotic production entirely in-house.

Working closely with our podiatrist and massage therapist, I handle the 3D design, modelling, and printing of orthotics using advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) technology. This system allows us to:

  • Drastically reduce turnaround times — often from weeks to just days

  • Maintain full control over the design and production process

  • Achieve higher accuracy and precision in each orthotic

  • Enable instant collaboration between practitioner and designer — adjustments, modifications, or remakes can be done almost immediately

This approach not only improves efficiency but also empowers both patient and practitioner with a more personalized, responsive, and high-quality experience. It’s a direct intersection of creative design thinking and medical innovation, and a project I’m proud to be driving.

A Varied Role

Every day at the clinic brings something new. My position covers a wide range of responsibilities that combine my multimedia design background with the practical needs of a growing healthcare practice.

Some of the areas I work across include:

  • Patient communication — ensuring clarity, empathy, and consistency in how we engage with every patient.

  • Marketing and campaign management — planning and executing digital and print campaigns to promote the clinic’s services and success stories.

  • Graphic design — creating visuals for both in-clinic materials and online platforms, maintaining a cohesive and professional visual identity.

  • Social media administration — curating content, managing posting schedules, and aligning messaging across channels.

  • 3D orthotic design and printing — bringing technology and design together to improve patient care (more on this below).

This blend of creative and operational work keeps me deeply involved in almost every part of the clinic’s brand, from what patients see online to the products they physically take hom

Sydney

Life in Sydney feels like a dream — golden beaches glimmering under endless sunshine, surfboards tucked under arms, and the ocean is never far away. Mornings start differently here, by 6am the beaches are already alive with joggers, surfers, and yoga mats unfurled beneath the rising sun. Then it's an ocean dip and a cappuccino at a beachside café. By afternoon, it’s all blue skies, barefoot walks, and that effortless, sun-kissed rhythm the city seems to live by.
